Since 1991, Carlton has been helping his clients achieve their financial goals with his sound financial principles and disciplined investment programs. He takes pride in providing a high level of personalized service and builds multi-generational family relationships that maintain a long-term investment perspective. He focuses on a broad array of wealth management strategies that include investing, insurance (through affiliates), estate investment planning strategies and providing access to lending services through City National Bank, our Sports and Entertainment Banking affiliate.
Using an in-depth process, Carlton examines each of the three phases of wealth management accumulation, preservation and distribution. He carefully considers each client’s age, time frame, risk tolerance, and goals and objectives to help properly allocate their investments among the primary asset classes, including stocks, bonds, cash, real estate and commodities, if appropriate. Regular consultations help determine if adjustments are needed in accordance with market conditions and changes in lifestyle.

Carlton earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Carlton is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, one of the financial industry’s most rigorous and in-depth certifications. He also completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Investments and Wealth Institute and the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton School.
He lives in Hollister with his wife, Julia, and their son, Jackson.
